Women's Lacrosse Announces Incoming Class

Head coach Guido adds 10 to roster

HAMILTON - The Raiders and head coach Guido have announced the incoming class for the 2026 lacrosse season. Colgate adds 10 new additions to the roster hailing from seven different states.

"Extremely eager about this class getting on campus," Coach Guido said. "This is my first incoming recruiting class and there is a variety of different talent and excitement surrounding them!"

Redwood
Miller joins the Raiders after putting together a historic four-year varsity lacrosse career at Redwood High School. A 2026 graduate and team captain for the Giants, the powerhouse attacker amassed an incredible 336 career points. She capped off her career with a spectacular senior season, exploding for 104 points (44 goals, 60 assists) and picking up 31 ground balls. Her dominance on the field earned her USA Lacrosse All-American honors in 2025, alongside back-to-back Marin County Athletic League (MCAL) First Team selections in 2025 and 2026, and a Second Team nod in 2024. A proven winner, she helped guide Redwood to an MCAL Championship in 2024 and a North Coast Section Championship in 2025.

Immaculate Heart Academy
Valente arrives on campus as an exceptionally versatile and decorated multi-sport athlete out of Immaculate Heart Academy. A 2026 graduate and senior team captain for the Blue Eagles, the midfielder amassed 118 career points (90 goals, 28 assists), 85 ground balls, 161 draw controls, and 39 forced turnovers across a stellar prep career. Her dominant sophomore and junior campaigns earned her back-to-back BCWCA First Team All-County honors and consecutive First Team All-Stars and Stripes White division selections in 2024 and 2025. She also helped lead Immaculate Heart to a Bergen County Championship title in 2024.

Arcella joins the program after a highly successful four-year varsity career at Summit High School. A 2026 graduate and senior team captain for the Hilltoppers, the midfielder put together a breakout senior campaign, exploding for 42 points (38 goals, 4 assists) along with 52 ground balls, 57 draw controls, and four forced turnovers. She was a key contributor on a dominant Summit squad that captured three consecutive State Championships from 2023 to 2025 and secured Union County Tournament titles in 2023 and 2025.

Ellsworth heads to Colgate following a standout four-year varsity career as a premier two-sport athlete at The Pingry School. A 2026 graduate and senior team captain for both the lacrosse and soccer squads, the midfielder was a dominant force all over the field, amassing 90 goals, 145 draw controls, 75 forced turnovers, and 130 ground balls across her prep lacrosse career. She capped off her career with a dominant senior season, recording 30 goals while also securing 75 draw controls and 40 forced turnovers. Her individual dominance earned her Skyland Conference All-Conference First Team and All-Non-Public Second Team honors in 2025. She spearheaded a legendary run for the Big Blue, capturing four consecutive Somerset County Championships from 2023 to 2026, back-to-back Skyland Conference titles in 2025 and 2026, and the NJSIAA Non-Public State Championship in 2025.

Vandenberg is welcomed to Hamilton after a stellar four-year varsity career at national powerhouse IMG Academy. A 2026 graduate and senior team captain for the Ascenders, the dynamic midfielder filled the stat sheet throughout her prep career, amassing 104 goals, 50 assists, 58 ground balls, 36 caused turnovers, and 112 draw controls. She capped off her time at IMG with a dominant senior campaign, racking up 23 goals and 20 assists while controlling the field with 34 ground balls, 20 caused turnovers, and 70 draw controls. Her elite performance on the national stage earned her recognition as an Adrenaline All-American, a USA High School Player of the Week selection, and her team's Most Valuable Player. She also competed for NXT during the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

Bishop O'Connell
Smith joins the Raiders following a standout four-year varsity lacrosse career at Bishop O'Connell High School. A 2026 graduate, the midfielder also attended Hanover High School during her freshman year and Alexandria City High School as a sophomore. She put together a dominant senior campaign with the Knights, filling the stat sheet with 29 points (24 goals, 5 assists), 23 ground balls, 13 caused turnovers, and an impressive 121 draw controls. Her excellence on the field earned her Midfielder of the Year honors, alongside a Patriot Conference First Team selection, a WCAC Second Team nod, and a WCAC Honorable Mention accolade.

Loomis Chaffee
Kim joins the program following a successful five-year varsity lacrosse career in the highly competitive New England prep ranks. A 2026 graduate of The Loomis Chaffee School, she also spent four years developing her game at Milton Academy from 2021 to 2025. Throughout her prep career, she proved to be a vital leader and competitor, earning team accolades including Most Valuable Player, the Coaches Award, and the Senior Award. She was a key contributor on highly successful squads, helping guide her team to the ISL Championship finals during her time at Milton and later anchoring a Loomis Chaffee team that secured the top seed in the Founders League.

Viewpoint School
Lee heads to Hamilton following a strong prep and club lacrosse career. A 2026 graduate of the Viewpoint School, she played varsity lacrosse for the Patriots and helped guide his squad to an appearance in the CIF Southern Section playoffs. At the club level, she competed for Alliance National 2026 from 2022 to 2026, earning 2024 All-America All-Tournament Team honors while helping lead her team to a No. 9 national ranking by US Club Lacrosse. An accomplished scholar and artist, she is a member of the Spanish Honor Society and earned both Gold and Silver Key distinctions in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.

Cirovic is welcomed to Colgate after a decorated career at Woodstock Union High School. A 2026 graduate and two-time lacrosse captain for the Wasps, she compiled phenomenal career totals of 107 goals, 23 assists, 329 draw controls, 229 caused turnovers, and 271 ground balls across four varsity seasons. She capped her high school career by leading Woodstock Union to the 2026 Vermont Lacrosse State Championship, recording 57 goals, 9 assists, 166 draw controls, 68 caused turnovers, and 71 ground balls as a senior. Her elite prep play earned her 2026 USA Lacrosse All-American, Academic All-American, First Team All-State, First Team All-SVL, and All-Championship Team accolades, building on back-to-back First Team All-State honors (2025, 2026) and a 2024 Apex All-American selection. On the club circuit, she competed for the New Hampshire Tomahawks from 2022 to 2026.

Ashton Pinkernell

Pinkernell joins the program after an accomplished career at New Canaan High School. A 2026 graduate and senior captain for the Rams, she produced 136 career points alongside 82 draw controls in three varsity lacrosse seasons, capped by a 59-point senior year. Her standout performance earned her 2026 USA Lacrosse All-American honors, back-to-back First Team All-State and First Team All-FCIAC selections (2025, 2026), and 2026 Academic All-State recognition. She played a key role on New Canaan's 2024 State and FCIAC Championship squad, which finished ranked No. 5 nationally.
