WASHINGTON — American scored as time expired in regulation to take a 3-2 win over Colgate Saturday afternoon.

"Our strikers focused on more interchanging and passing quickly and it helped us generate attack and get us on the board twice. The goal at the last second was certainly a heart breaker and it area for growth for us moving forward. We are ready to jump right back on the field tomorrow and take care of business."
Federica Turina Dellamaggiore netted the winner, dribbling into the circle and firing a high shot as the clock hit zero.
