Men's and Women's Hockey Announce 2023-24 Schedules

Defending ECAC Champs Unveil Regular Season Slates

HAMILTON – The Colgate men's and women's hockey programs have announced their respective schedules for the 2023-24 season.

Both programs are coming off historic ECAC Hockey championship seasons, with the women's team winning its third straight title and the men hoisting the Whitelaw Cup for the first time since 1990.

Men's Hockey
2023-24 Schedule

The Raiders open the season with a home series against UConn Oct. 7-8 before hitting the road to take on Sacred Heart Oct. 13-14. Colgate then returns home to play UMass Lowell the following weekend. After a bye week, the defending ECAC champions open conference play on the road, traveling to Brown Nov. 3 and Yale Nov. 4. The Raiders welcome Niagara to the Class of 1965 Arena for a post-Thanksgiving series Nov. 24-25. The calendar year ends with a home-and-home series against Route 12 rival Cornell Dec. 1-2. Colgate rings in the new year with two-straight road trips, heading to Maine Jan. 5-6 and LIU Jan. 12-13. The Raiders' first home game of 2024 will be against the defending national champions, Quinnipiac, Jan. 19. The remainder of the season includes home tilts against Clarkson, St. Lawrence, Yale, Brown, RPI, and Union.

Women's Hockey
2023-24 Schedule

Colgate opens the regular season with three consecutive home weekends against Ohio State (Sept. 29-30), Penn State (Oct. 6-7), and Mercyhurst (Oct. 13-14). Conference play begins when the Raiders visit RPI and Union (Oct. 27-28), starting a stretch of eight ECAC Hockey games in November. Non-conference matchups against Minnesota Duluth, Syracuse, and Maine fill December, before Colgate's title defense returns with conference bouts against St. Lawrence and Clarkson Jan. 5-6. The Raiders will play 15 contests over the final two months of the regular season, including eight games inside the Class of 1965 Arena. Colgate celebrates its seniors during its final regular-season home matchup against RPI on Feb. 10.
