Worcester, Mass. – Colgate women's rowing recorded strong finishes at the Patriot League Championships Friday on Lake Quinsigamond, finishing seventh.

The Raiders opened the morning with qualifying races, as the 1v8 and v4 secured spots in their grand finals. Colgate's 2v8 was edged out in their heat and qualified for the petite final.
Colgate's 2v8 qualified for the petite final with a time of 7:18.800. In the petite final the Raiders battled hard against Loyola and Lehigh but crossed the finish line second with a time of 7:33.364.
The v4 finished with a qualifying time of 8:04.980, beating Lehigh by 20 seconds. In the grand finals, the Raiders finished sixth with a time of 8:09.628.
The 1v8 opened up the morning with a grand final qualifying time of 7:01.120. They finished off the championships with a finishing time of 7:09.922, 11 seconds off Georgetown.
Colgate graduates eight seniors and returns a strong group of underclassmen for next season.
