HAMILTON – Junior attacker Kyra Lucey of the Colgate women's lacrosse team has earned All-Patriot League Second Team honors, announced by the League office Monday afternoon. 

Lucey paced the team in assists (30) and points (46) as a key contributor to Colgate's offense. She scored 16 goals, good for fifth-best on the team, including one game-winning goal. Her 2.0 assists per game average ranked fifth-best in the Patriot League. 

The junior attacker and Pittsford, N.Y., native posted three multi-goal performances, including a season-high four tallies in Colgate's win over Lafayette (4/15). She scored the game-winning goal in overtime to clinch Colgate's 16-15 Senior Day victory over American (4/22). 

Lucey registered eight games with at least two assists, highlighted by a season-high five helpers in a seven-point showing against Bucknell (3/29). She also had four assists in Colgate's home 12-8 victory over Niagara during non-conference action on Feb. 26. 

This is the first career postseason honor for Lucey, who will enter her senior campaign with 51 goals, 58 assists, and 109 total points.
