HAMILTON — The Colgate men's and women's hockey programs have announced their respective schedules for the 2022-23 season.
Both teams will play 34 regular-season games, including 22 ECAC Hockey contests. The men will take the ice 17 times at the Class of 1965 Arena, while the women will host 16 games.
Men's Hockey
2022-23 Schedule
The Raiders kick off the season with a home series against Northern Michigan Oct. 7-8. Colgate then hits the road for two-straight weekends, starting with a trip out west to take on Arizona State Oct. 14-15, before heading to Merrimack Oct. 21-22. The Raiders return home the following weekend to host Vermont Oct. 28-29. ECAC play kicks off on the road when Colgate travels to Quinnipiac and Princeton Nov. 4-5. The Raiders continue non-conference action at Niagara Nov. 25-26. After hosting Dartmouth and defending ECAC champion Harvard (Dec. 2-3), Colgate welcomes Maine for its final non-conference matchup Dec. 30-31. The January and February portion of the schedule features 14 ECAC games, including a home-and-home series against Cornell Feb. 10-11. The Raiders wrap up the regular season at Yale and Brown Feb. 24-25.
Women's Hockey
2022-23 Schedule
Coming off its second-straight ECAC Hockey Championship, Colgate begins the 2022-23 campaign at home against Syracuse Sept. 24. The Raiders are then on the road for two-straight weekends as they head to Mercyhurst Sept. 30-Oct. 1 and Penn State Oct. 7-8. Colgate returns home for its next two series, facing off against RIT Oct. 14-15 and Vermont Oct. 21-22. After opening ECAC play at Princeton and Quinnipiac (Oct. 28-29), the Raiders hit the road for a pair of games against defending national champion Ohio State Nov. 22-23. Non-conference play finishes with a weekday matchup at Syracuse Jan. 10. The next portion of the conference schedule features a home-and-home series against Cornell Jan. 20-21 and a home game against Yale Feb. 10 in a rematch of last season's ECAC Championship. Colgate concludes the regular season by traveling to Union and RPI Feb. 17-18.
