BOSTON – The Colgate women's rowing team competed in the Head of the Charles Saturday, Oct. 22. In one of the biggest events of the year, the Raiders competed against high quality teams and made big improvements from their last outing.
After medaling in their most recent race the 1v8 boat captured their best time at the Head of the Charles since 2005.
Colgate launched two boats throughout the day, the 1v4 boat captured a time of 19:46.002 placing 32nd out of 52, finishing above Loyola, MIT, and George Mason.
The Raiders 1v8 boat finished 12th out of 40 teams, crossing the finish line with a time of 17:10.910, finishing above Boston College, St. Josephs, and Eastern Michigan.
