HAMILTON – For their efforts both on the court and in the classroom, seniors
Bridget Kolsky and
Alli Lowe have been named to the Patriot League All-Academic Team.
Behind a 3.65 cumulative GPA as an English and Film & Media Studies double-major, Kolsky leads the team with her 118 digs and 4.07 digs per set. She holds the second-most service aces on the team with 10 and has posted three 20-plus dig matches throughout the season's eight matches, including a season-high of 22 in the 3-1 win over Holy Cross (March 5).
Ranking fifth in program history with her 1,221 career digs, Kolsky has been a three-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll member and was named to the Dean's List with Distinction for Fall 2020.
Joining Kolsky on the All-Academic team is the 2021 Patriot League Player of the Year in
Alli Lowe. Maintaining a 3.55 cumulative GPA as a Peace & Conflict Studies major, Lowe tops the team with her 128 kills and 11 service aces. She has posted a pair of double-doubles and marked a season-high of 28 kills in the 3-1 win over Holy Cross (March 5).
Ranking third in program history with her 1,319 career kills, Lowe has been a three-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll member and was also named to the Dean's List with Distinction for Fall 2020.
Kolsky and Lowe now mark just nine Colgate honorees on the All-Academic Team dating back to the award's inception in 2010. It is also the first time in program history that Colgate has placed two on the Patriot League All-Academic Team in any year, while Lowe is the first two-time participant.

UP NEXT
The Raiders prepare for the 2020-21 Patriot League Tournament on April 2-3. As the No. 1 seed, Colgate earned the right to host the tournament and opens by facing No. 4 seeded American in the Patriot League Semifinals on Friday at 3 p.m.
Should they advance, the Raiders then face the winner of Army / Holy Cross in the Patriot League Championship on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m.
