Dominant Performance Helps Bayless Earn Weekly Honors

Bayless earns her third career Player of the Week award

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Milan Bayless, an offensive threat on the volleyball team, has been named the Patriot League Player of the Week for her outstanding performances during the week. 

Bayless led her team to a 2–0 record, continuing her streak of leading in kills for the fourth consecutive week. In the match against American, she recorded 22 kills, one ace, eight digs, one solo block, and contributed 24 points to her team's victory. In the subsequent win over Loyola, she achieved 14 kills, two aces, five digs, four block assists, and accumulated 18 points. 

Currently, Bayless leads the Patriot League in kills with a total of 169 across 44 sets, averaging 3.84 kills per set. She also tops the league in points, amassing 198.5 points.

In addition to Bayless's recognition, senior Maddie Rudolph and first-year Jordyn Moore received honorable mentions for their performances. Rudolph set a personal best with 10 blocks against Loyola and delivered the game-winning solo block against American in the fifth set. Moore achieved a career-best 12 kills off 26 total attempts with a .346 hitting percentage in the match against American.

The team will host conference opponents Lafayette on Friday and Bucknell on Saturday on Cotterell Court.
