BETHLEHEM, Pa.— The Patriot League announced its postseason awards on Friday with a trio of Raiders earning First Team All-Patriot League.
Hannah Pinkus headlined Colgate's accolades as she was also tabbed Patriot League Midfielder of the Year. Sophomore forward
Ally Giovino and senior defender
Ruby Diodati were the other two Raiders that garnered first team honors.
HANNAH PINKUS - PATRIOT LEAGUE MIDFIELDER OF THE YEAR
Pinkus racked up 16 points this season with six goals and four assists, ranking her third in the conference. The Manchester, Vt. native recorded a point in 10 games this season, including six multi-point games. This is the second year in a row that Pinkus has tabbed first team honors and she is also just the third player in program history to earn Midfielder of the Year.
ALLY GIOVINO - FIRST TEAM ALL-PATRIOT LEAGUE
Giovino led the Raiders with seven goals this season, good for third-best in the conference. She also fell fifth in the Patriot League in points with 14. A native of Westford, Mass., Giovino had three game-winning goals, helping Colgate to wins over Fordham, Eastern Michigan, and Yale.
RUBY DIODATI - FIRST TEAM ALL-PATRIOT LEAGUE
Diodati led the team and ranked tied for fourth in the conference in assists with six. She also scored three goals on the season. The Mendon, Mass. local started in all 17 of the Raiders games this season. On Sept. 9 she led Colgate to a 3-2 victory over Binghamton when she recorded five points with two goals and an assist.
The Raiders finished the season 7-8-1 overall and 3-4-1 in the Patriot League.
