ALBANY, N.Y. – After a 60-save weekend, first-year netminder
Carter Gylander has been named Goalie of the Week by ECAC Hockey.

Adirondack Health Rookie of the Week: Ty Smilanic (Quinnipiac)
The Beaumont, Alberta native opened with a season-high of 34 saves in the 4-2 victory against St. Lawrence on Saturday evening. Gylander added another 26 saves while allowing just one goal against in the 1-1 tie on Sunday.
Overall on the weekend, Gylander's 60 saves and three goals against led to a .952 save percentage and a .750 winning percentage on the week.
The award marks Gylander's first ECAC Hockey honor of his career.
UP NEXT
The Raiders continue ECAC Hockey action next weekend in a home-and-home series against Quinnipiac. The series opens on Friday, Jan. 15 in a 5 p.m. puck drop at Class of 1965 Arena, before wrapping up in Hamden, Conn. on Sunday, Jan. 17 at 4 p.m.
