CLINTON, N.Y.—Rachel Schaaf and the 4x800 Meter Relay team claimed wins to pace the Colgate Women's Track and Field team at Pritchard Track in the Hamilton Invitational.
Schaaf took home top honors in the Triple Jump when she leaped to 11.40 meters, which was also a PR. Schaaf also had a top finish in the High Jump when she came in second with a mark of 1.50 meters.
The victorious 4x800 Meter Relay team included
Skyler Berardi,
Reagan Darrah,
Sarah Silverman and
Zoe Zeltner and they crossed the line in a blazing 10:04.63.
Regine Cooper had a strong day in throws to pace the Raiders. She finished second in the Shot Put with her mark of 11.86 meters. She also finished seventh in the Hammer Throw when her toss traveled 40.91 meters.
Olivia Krogermeier registered a PR in the event with her final mark of 31.03 meters.
Maya LaRosiliere came in right behind in 31st with a final throw of 30.68 meters.
A trio of big performances were put in during the 1500 Meter Run. Berardi registered a PR with her fourth place finish of 4:51.05.
Denise Larson had a monstrous PR of 13 seconds when she finished ninth with her mark of 5:01.50.
Lexi Walsh also had a collegiate best time to cap the event with her 13th place mark of 5:06.31.
Vicky Martinez and
Hannah Gunther had a strong showing in the 5000 Meter Run. Martinez finished third when she crossed the line in 18:35.35 and Gunther came in fourth with a mark of 18:40.39. It was also a PR of an amazing 46 seconds.
Silverman paced the Raiders in the 400 Meter Dash when she finished with a collegiate best time of 1:03.11 for sixth place. Darrah was not far behind in ninth with a time of 1:04.08. And Zeltner rounded out the strong showing with her 16th place mark of 1:07.10.
Danielle Zarnick had the final Raider PR on the day when she finished 30th in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:39.94, which was her best time in her collegiate career by five seconds.
Sophia Manners had a strong showing in the event when she crossed the line 10th with a time of 2:29.27. And
Hannah Kloster was 34th when she finished in 2:44.22.
Megan Maloney nearly claimed a top-10 finish in the Javelin Throw when she came in 11th with a mark of 29.32 meters.
The 4x400 Meter Relay team of Walsh, Manners, Larson and Zarnick combined to finish 12th with their time of 4:37.02.
Sarah Sampson came in 16th in the Long Jump with her mark of 4.70 meters.
Marina Reilly sprinted to a time of 13.28 in the 100 Meter Dash to claim 17th.
Amanda Gollaher claimed another top-20 finish for the Raiders when she came in 19th in the Pole Vault with her mark of 2.71 meters.
Silverman wrapped her busy day in the 200 Meter Dash with her time of 28.37 for 30th place and Julia Zaborowsky was 31st in the Discus Throw with her mark of 21.20 meters.
