Haagensen Earns Academic All-League Honor

Junior collects second straight Academic All-League selection

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Melinda Haagensen collected her second consecutive Academic All-Patriot League selection, the conference announced on Wednesday.

The junior earned a silver medal in the pole vault at the Patriot League Indoor Track and Field Championships. Haagensen holds the school record in the pole vault with a height of 4.05m. The record setting vault earned her a gold medal at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Februrary.

Haagensen and the Raiders now set their sights on the start of the outdoor track season with their first meet scheduled for March 20-21 in Orlando, Fla.
