HAMILTON—The Colgate Women's Tennis team was topped by a 4-3 final against Binghamton Saturday afternoon at J.W. Abrahamson Courts.
The Raiders came out hot out of the gates when they claimed the team point in doubles.
Lauren O'Brien and
Madi Kiani teamed up and
Callie Bartimer and
Ricki Lane also combined to win matches by 6-2 finals to claim the point.
In singles play, O'Brien continued her hot string of play when she needed the full three sets to claim her third singles match.
Nicole Condas was also strong at number six singles when she lost just a pair of games on the way to a 6-2, 6-0 triumph.
Bartimer was just a few moments away from earning Colgate the team win when she lost her match at number five by a 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 final.
