CLINTON, N.Y.—Reagan Darrah and
Rachel Schaaf both brought top performances for the Colgate Women's Track and Field team at the Hamilton Mid-Week at Pritchard Track Tuesday afternoon.
Both competitors were able to claim individual event wins to pace the Raiders in their sole mid-week competition of the season. Darrah's triumph came in the 800 Meter Run when she crossed the line first in 2:23.63. Schaaf's top performance was in the Long Jump when she soared to 5.18 meters.
Sarah Silverman also claimed a top-10 finish in the 800 Meter Run when she took sixth with a time of 2:33.52.
Regine Cooper had another strong day, but just missed out on an event win. She took second in the Shot Put when her mark of 11.88 meters came just short of the win. She also claimed second in the Hammer Throw with her final toss of 41.57 meters.
Maya LaRosiliere was ninth in the event with a mark of 32.85 meters and
Olivia Krogermeier was 11th with a PR toss of 31.22 meters.
Another PR came in the 200 Meter Dash when
Zoe Zeltner claimed ninth with her time of 30.52. She also finished third in the 400 Meter Dash when she crossed the line in 1:08.21.
Amanda Gollaher also had a top-5 for the Raiders when she was fourth in the Pole Vault with a mark of 2.63 meters.

"It was a quick day, but we got some good work in. Some of the athletes, especially our distance squad, got to show off their versatility and this was really just fun for us. You need that every now and again, yet we still managed to pull off great results. It was fun to watch."

The Raiders have two events this weekend. They'll send split squads to the Larry Ellis Invite in Princeton, N.J. and the Greyhound Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa.
