BETHLEHEM, Pa.—A slew of impressive personal records highlighted a successful day Saturday at Breidegam Track at the Coach P Invite for the Colgate Women's Track and Field team.
The 5000 Meter Run had the most fireworks on the day for the Raiders.
Skyler Berardi cruised to a fourth place finish with her time of 18:40.50, which was a new collegiate best time by 27 seconds.
Denise Larson finished seventh in 18:57.32, which was a PR by 19 seconds.
Lexi Walsh rounded out the strong showing in the event with her 15th place time of 19:40.04.
Another massive PR was registered in the Hammer Throw when
Maya LaRosiliere stepped up. Her toss of 35.82 meters set a new collegiate best for her by nearly five meters, which was also good for 19th.
Regine Cooper led all Raiders in the event when she finished fifth with a mark of 41.97 meters. And
Olivia Krogermeier came in 33rd with her final mark of 30.42 meters.
Cooper had another top-10 finish when she came in sixth in the Shot Put with her impressive final count of 12.18 meters.
The Raiders' final individual top-10 of the day came from
Marina Reilly. The senior came in eighth in the Long Jump thanks to her leap of 5.29 meters.
Rachel Schaaf came in 15th in the event with her mark of 5.10 meters. And
Sarah Sampson was 35th after she finished at 4.57 meters.
Colgate's 4x100 Meter Relay team also claimed a top-10 when they came in 10th with a time of 50.78.
The PRs kept on rolling in during the 1500 Meter Run.
Hannah Kloster crossed the line in 5:27.66, which was good for 39th and a new collegiate best time of six seconds.
Danielle Zarnick also had a PR in the event of four seconds when she was 40th with a time of 5:28.16.
Sophia Manners actually led all Raiders in the race when she finished 19th with a mark of 5:04.15.
Another PR came from Julia Zaborowsky. Her toss of 22.96 meters in the Discus Throw was her best effort ever by two meters and was good for 38th.
Carly Schwartz claimed a top-20 mark at the well-attended meet when she came in 17th in the 400 Meter Dash with her time of 1:01.10. She also came in 32nd in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 27.83.
Isa Cunio cruised to a time of 27.73 in the same event, which earned her 30th place. Ellie Sacchi also ran the race and came in 46th after she crossed the line in 28.80.
In the Javelin Throw,
Megan Maloney took home 27th when she finished at 31.75 meters.
Amanda Gollaher also competed in the Pole Vault.
Vicky Martinez competed in the Mile Run Sunday at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic. She finished 13th with a time of 5:21.06, which was also a PR by over one second.
