SYRACUSE, N.Y.—Lauren O'Brien provided the highlight for the Colgate Women's Tennis team Sunday evening at Drumlins Country Club in a 6-1 defeat to Lehigh.
She completed her perfect weekend in singles play when she claimed the lone team point with a 7-5, 6-2 victory at number three.
Callie Bartimer lost in a heartbreaker at number five singles, but eventually fell by a 10-9 tally.
Both
Jordan Williams and
MacKenzie Deeter also had competitive matches in singles play, as they both won four games in straight set defeats.
The evening also marked the 500th combined men's and women's match coached at Colgate for 13th year head coach
Bobby Pennington. He is just the second coach in Raider history to achieve the feat, joining Joe Abrahamson.
