HAMILTON – Four former Colgate men's hockey players have been named to NHL Training Camp rosters as the 31 NHL teams prepare for the 2018-19 season. Chris Wagner (Boston Bruins),
Colton Point (Dallas Stars),
Jake Kulevich '17 (Edmonton Oilers), and Kevin Lough '16 (Vegas Golden Knights) all began play at their respective camps.

Wagner, who played for the Raiders from 2010-12 and totaled 70 points by 26 goals and 44 assists, was recently signed as a free agent to a two-year deal with the Boston Bruins. Last season, the forward spent 15 games with the New York Islanders, before rejoining the Anaheim Ducks for 64 games. Wagner was third in the NHL with 235 hits last season while playing with both Anaheim and the Islanders, and also brought a level of offense with seven goals and 16 points. Wagner was selected in the fifth round (No. 122) of the 2010 NHL draft.
After two seasons with the Colgate hockey program, goaltender
Colton Point recently signed a professional contract with the NHL's Dallas Stars. Selected in the fifth round (No. 128) in the 2016 NHL Entry, Point was named a CCM/AHCA All-America Second Team honoree after posting a program record .944 save percentage that ranked first nationally in the 2017-18 season. Point was the first sophomore in program history to earn All-America status, and just the fourth Colgate goaltender selected with his 1.74 goals against average. A native of North Bay, Ontario, Point tied the program mark with six shutouts in 2017-18 and set the game record for most saves (51) in a 2-0 shutout of Harvard.
A Raider from 2013-17 and former captain of the program, defenseman
Jake Kulevich was signed in the offseason by the Bakersfield Condors, the Edmonton Oilers AHL affiliate. Kulevich shared his time last season with the Manitoba Moose of the AHL and the Jacksonville Icemen of the ECHL. While with the Moose, Kulevich had three assists for three points in 33 regular season games, in addition to two points in eight games played with Jacksonville. Serving as Colgate team captain for the 2016-17 season, Kulevich totaled 15 goals and 60 points in his 150 games played with the Raiders before graduating in 2017.
After playing for the Raiders from 2012-16, defenseman Kevin Lough went on to play with the Adirondack Thunder of the ECHL. While with the Thunder, Lough amassed 33 points by six goals and 27 assists through 76 games played, before advancing to the AHL's Chicago Wolves for 45 games in the 2017-18 campaign. Last season, Lough marked 10 points by three goals and seven assists with the Wolves, the Vegas Golden Knights AHL affiliate. In his time with the Raiders, Lough served as an alternate captain his senior season, and totaled 31 points by seven goals and 24 assists through 149 games played in his career.
