HAMILTON, N.Y. – No. 4/4 Colgate women's ice hockey takes on No. 6/6 Cornell in the semifinal round of the ECAC Hockey playoffs. The winner will take on the victor of Clarkson-St. Lawrence for the conference title on Sunday.

The Raiders and Big Red split their regular season matchups. On Dec. 1, Colgate lost on the road to Cornell, 2-1. The following day, the Raiders fought back scored three unanswered goals to come back from a two-goal deficit to win, 5-4. Jessie Eldridge netted a short-handed goal with just under five minutes remaining to secure the win.
 
Scouting Cornell
The Big Red enter the weekend having won eight of their last nine games. They bested Princeton in the quarterfinals in three games. Ranked No. 6 in the nation in both major polls, the Big Red are led by Kristin O'Neill, who has 40 points on the season on 19 goals and 21 assists. As a team, they average 3.00 goals, while allowing 1.88. Marlene Boissonnault is their primary goaltender with 30 starts between the pipes. She has a save percentage of .928 and a goals against average of 1.65.

Scouting Clarkson
The No. 2/2 Golden Knights enter the weekend with an overall record of 31-4-1. Along with Colgate, Clarkson won a share of the ECAC Hockey regular season title. The defending national champions are led by Loren Gabel, who's 69 points is the third highest total in the nation. The junior forward has netted 33 goals and tallied 36 assists. First-year forward Elizabeth Giguere has emerged as a star. Her 65 points are the second most by any first-year player in the nation.
 
Scouting St. Lawrence
The eighth-ranked Saints enter the weekend in search of their first ECAC Hockey title since 2012. The Saints swept Quinnipiac in the quarterfinal to reach this weekend's semifinals. Their three leading scorers are Kennedy Marchment, Hannah Miller and Justine Reyes. Marchment has 39 points (15g, 24a), while Miller (13g, 25a) and Reyes (17g, 21a) each have 38. Sonja Shelly and Grace Harrison have split time between the pipes. Shelly has posted a save percentage of .925 and a goals against average of 1.80, while Harrison has a .909 save percentage and a 1.94 goals against average.
