DETROIT - Four former Colgate women's hockey players were drafted in the 2026 Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) draft on Wednesday night in the Fox Theatre in Detroit.
Casey Borgiel '26 was selected 22nd overall to PWHL Detroit joining former Raider Sydney Bard '24.
Elyssa Biederman '26 also went to a new expansion team after being selected 30th overall to PWHL Hamilton. Bieds reunites with Kayle Osborne '24 and Allyson Simpson '24 in Hamilton, Ontario.Â
Alexis Petford '26 heard her name called with the 53rd pick as she is headed to PWHL Las Vegas.Â
Neena Brick '25 was the final Raider selection with the 59th pick in the draft by the Ottawa Charge.
Colgate's four selections is the most for the Raiders since the 2024 draft and the third-most in the ECAC.
