HAMILTON – Tina Bowers (West Reading, Pennsylvania

) and
Meghan DioGuardi (Hornell, New York) highlighted Colgate women's track and field's superb performance at the Class of 1932 Invitational Saturday afternoon at Sanford Fieldhouse.
Bowers, DioGuardi and two first-place finishes from
Marina Reilly (Oradell, New Jersey) led the Raiders to second place on Saturday with 131 points in the meet. Hamilton only bested Colgate with 215 points.
Colgate saw 16 finishes in the top five of the athlete's respective events and 15 of those performances were in the top three.
Bowers picked up a big win for the Raiders in the 800-Meter Race while DioGuardi came in first in the Mile. Reilly continued her impressive career by finishing first in both the long jump and triple jump while the 4x800-Meter Relay Team also earned a first-place finish.

Maggie Cusick (San Jose, California) finished just behind Reilly with a long jump of 4.97 meters while
Sarah Sampson (Oriskany, New York) was fourth at 4.54 meters
-The 4x800-Meter Relay Team of
Skyler Berardi (Glen Mills, Pennsylvania), Bowers, DioGuardi and
Zoe Zeltner (New York, New York) ran its fastest time of the 2018 season in 10:07.60 seconds to finish in first place

Carly Schwartz (Armonk, New York) came in second in the 200-Meter Dash in 27.78 seconds while
Lauren Henske (Hillsborough, California) finished in fifth place in 28.04 seconds

Elizabeth Timoney (Mendham, New Jersey) and
Emma Joseph (Merrick, New York) finished the 3,000-Meter Race within .29 seconds of each other as Timoney came in second with her time of 11:25.85 to beat Joseph, who finished in 11:26.14 to set a personal record in the event.
Emily Peck (Cheshire, Connecticut) also set a personal record in 11:36.17.

Megan Maloney 
(Bridgeton, New York) each hit 1.42 meters on the High Jump while Filer also came in second place of the Pole Vault at 2.75 meters

Allison Kinne (Great Barrington, Massachusetts) picked up a third-place finish in 400-Meter Dash in 1:04.05
-Berardi also recorded a third-place finish as she completed the 1,000-Meter Run in 3:14.59 to break her personal record by nearly two seconds
-Colgate's 4x400-Relay Team of Sampson, Kinne, Henske and Schwartz also ran its fastest race of the since in 4:15.68 to come in second place
