Official Patriot League Release
HAMILTON – The Patriot League celebrates its 25th Anniversary during the 2015-16 season, and coverage begins with this month's announcement of 25-member anniversary teams.
The teams are being presented in a three-week period from Aug. 10-28, with squads for the following sports: men and women's basketball, men and women's soccer, men and women's lacrosse, field hockey, volleyball, baseball, softball, men and women's cross country, men and women's swimming and diving, men and women's tennis, men and women's track and field and men's golf. Each school that participates in a sport cast a vote for the teams, selecting 25 former student-athletes to fill out each list of honorees.
A football team was selected in 2011 when that sport celebrated its 25th anniversary.
The 13th installment of the Patriot League's 25th Anniversary teams features softball. Colgate placed four former student-athletes on the squad. Brief bios for each of the Raider selections can be found below.
