BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Adding to a decorated season both on and off the field, Colgate Softball sophomore standout
Lily Haluska has been named to the 2026 Academic All-Patriot League Team, the conference office announced Wednesday.
To be eligible for the Patriot League Academic All-Patriot League awards, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and be a starter or key player in his or her sport. Nominees must have completed at least one academic year at their institution.
Haluska, an All-Patriot League First Team selection, is batting .331 on the season with a .446 on-base percentage and 1.138 OPS. More than half of her 50 hits have gone for extra bases as she has racked up 10 doubles, two triples, and 14 home runs.
Her season was highlighted by a record-breaking performance in the RBI category; she surpassed the program's single-season mark with a team-high 53 runs batted in. The Ballston Lake, N.Y., native has also scored 39 runs with 106 total bases on the season.
Defensively, the catcher has caught every inning of every game throughout the 2026 campaign, providing leadership for the pitching staff through all 51 starts.
A consistent presence on the Patriot League and Raider Academic Honor Rolls, she serves as a representative on the Colgate Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), advocating for her peers at the NCAA and conference levels.
Haluska is also the Founder and Director of "Field of Dreamers Youth Softball." Through this initiative, she led camps focused on skill development and confidence building, mentoring the next generation of young athletes in the local community.
