More Than 110 Alumni and Friends Took Part in Annual Tournament at Seven Oaks This Past Weekend

HAMILTON – Colgate hosted the 2015 Terry Slater Memorial Golf Tournament over the weekend, with more than 110 Raider hockey alumni and friends taking part in the annual event at Seven Oaks Golf Course.

The weekend began Friday night with a reception at The Hour Glass. Saturday morning saw a great alumni hockey game at Starr Rink followed by a barbecue cookout featuring Jesse Winchester '08 and Steve Chouinard, Colgate's Assistant AD for Sports Performance and Director of Sports Medicine, working the grills.

After lunch, the group got an update on the progress of the program's new facility, The Class of '65 Arena, from Senior Associate Athletics Director, Ann-Marie Guglieri.

Golf at Seven Oaks followed with a 2 p.m. shotgun start. The winning team was Tyler Burton '08, Jesse Winchester '08, Mark Dekanich '08 and Ben Camper '08.

The 2016 edition of the Terry Slater Memorial Golf Tournament will be held July 22-23, 2016, at Seven Oaks Golf Course.
