Game Two
ITHACA, N.Y. (4/20/11) – Freshman

Vaughn hit a double in the first game and added a single in the second to extend her hitting streak, but the rest of the team only produced one more hit as Cornell was led in the circle by Elizabeth Dalrymple and Ali Tomlinson who threw 12 scoreless innings. Dalrymple won the first game with 13 strikeouts, while Tomlinson gave up one hit and struck out six in her five innings of service.
Freshman
Rachel LeCoq threw six solid innings in the first game allowing five hits with two earned runs while striking out six. LeCoq now has 118 strikeouts on the season, which ranks fourth in a single season at Colgate.
Colgate (19-17, 10-1) will be back in action on Saturday, April 23 when it travels to Holy Cross for a weekend series against the Crusaders. The first game is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. at Freshman Field.
