The Colgate University men's basketball team will play host to Dartmouth on Monday, Dec. 19. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Cotterell Court and will be streamed live by GateTV on Colgate All-Access.

THE SERIES WITH DARTMOUTH
This will be the 39th meeting between Colgate and Dartmouth with the Raiders leading the all-time series 20-18. Both teams split their two meetings last year with Colgate winning the last game 67-64 in Hamilton.
LAST TIME OUT
The Colgate men's basketball team extend its home winning streak to three games as it topped St. Francis (NY) 65-63 Saturday (Dec. 10) at Cotterell Court. The win was also first-ever for Colgate against the Terriers.
The Raiders trailed 61-60 before baskets by
Yaw Gyawu and
Mitch Rolls gave them a 64-61 lead, and
Pat Moore added a free throw for the 65-63 final. St. Francis (NY) missed a shot to tie at the buzzer.
Rolls led the way for Colgate with a team-high 15 points on 4-of-6 shooting, while Gyawu and classmate
Sterling Melville scored 14 apiece. Moore extended his double-figure scoring streak to seven games with 12 points, while also grabbing a team-high nine rebounds.
SCOUTING DARTMOUTH (3-7)
Gabas Maldunas and John Golden each registered double-doubles to help Dartmouth defeat Elon on Saturday at Leede Arena, 62-54. Maldunas finished the game with a season-high 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Golden dropped in 10 points while snagging a season-best 11 boards as the Big Green (3-7) snapped a four-game skid.
For the game, Dartmouth shot 43.4 percent (23-of-53), but a solid 50 percent (13-of-26) in the decisive second half. Elon, meanwhile, found the going a little easier from the outside, hitting 9-of-26 (.346) from long range, but just 16-of-55 (.291) overall. The Big Green also had a seven-rebound edge on the glass, 42-35.
BATTLE OF BROTHERS III
Colgate senior
Sterling Melville will welcome his younger brother Tyler to Cotterell Court for a second time. Sterling will be looking for a little redemption this year as Tyler outscored him 12-6 in the last meeting, but Colgate won the game 67-64. The first meeting between the two was a draw as both played equal minutes and finished with two points in a 80-63 win for Dartmouth in Hanover. Sterling is currently averaging 8.9 points and 3.2 rebounds per game for Colgate, while Tyler is averaging 2.0 points and 0.8 rebounds per game for the Big Green.
VENEZIA LEADS THE NATION
Colgate senior
Mike Venezia currently leads the nation with a 96.0 free-throw percentage. Venezia has made 24 of 25 free-throw attempts this season including the first 18 he attempted.
12 OR MOORE
Sophomore
Pat Moore is currently riding a seven-game double-figure scoring streak that has seen him score no less than 12 points in a game since playing at Wisconsin. Over the seven games Moore has averaged 14.5 points per game and now leads the team in scoring with 12.3 per game, which ranks 12th overall in the Patriot League.
1,000 POINTS AND COUNTING
Last season, senior forward
Yaw Gyawu became the 28th player in school history to join the 1,000-point club. Gyawu currently has 1,141 points which ranks 22nd, only 17 points behind Ed Muntner and Bill Dodd (1,158) for 20th overall.
VENEZIA KEEPS RAINING THREES
Colgate senior
Mike Venezia has made a total of 159 three-pointers in his career which ranks seventh all-time in the Colgate record books. Former teammate Kyle Roemer '10 holds the school record (267), while director of basketball operations
Mark Linebaugh '04 ranks fifth with 173.
