KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Colgate Men's Basketball junior guard
Jalen Cox was named to the All-North Atlantic District First Team by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) on Tuesday morning.
Cox adds the honor to a postseason résumé that includes All-Patriot League First Team and All-Defensive Team honors. He led the Patriot League in assists per game (5.3) while finishing third in points per game (17.9). He also ranked third in steals per game (1.7), sixth in field goal percentage (52.1) and minutes per game (34.0), and 10th in rebounds (5.2).
The Los Angeles, Calif., native scored 20 or more points in 13 games, the most by a Raider since at least 2010. His three 30-point performances were the most by a Colgate player since 2018-19, including a career-high 38 points against Loyola (Feb. 21) — the program's highest-scoring game since Jordan Burns scored 40 against Green Bay in 2019.
Cox posted five double-doubles, including a 13-point, 10-rebound, and 10-assist triple-double against Bucknell. He led the team in scoring 16 times while becoming the program's 43rd member of the 1,000-point club during his 38-point outburst against Loyola.
Cox is the 14th Colgate player to earn NABC All-District honors, the sixth to be named to the First Team, and the first Raider to do so since Tucker Richardson in 2023.
