Mark Linebaugh ’04 joined the Raiders staff as the director of basketball operations in May 2011 after spending three seasons as the head men’s basketball coach at Annville-Cleona High School in Annville, Pa. During his time at Annville-Cleona Linebaugh was able to lead the Dutchmen to a record 45-30 overall, including a 21-7 mark during the 2010-11 season.
After the 2010-11 season, Linebaugh was named the Lancaster-Lebanon Section IV Coach of the Year. Before returning to his high school alma mater, Linebaugh served as an assistant coach at Dickinson College (2007-08) and the head coach of the Falcon Basketklubben (2005-07), a professional team in Denmark.
Linebaugh was a four-year letterwinner with the Raiders from 2000-04 and finished his career among the top-10 all-time leading scorers with 1,349 points. Linebaugh was also named the Patriot League Rookie of the Year (2000-01) and to the all-League second team twice (2002-03 and 2003-04). Linebaugh led Colgate in scoring in his final two seasons and earned the Spirit Award as a junior and was named the team MVP as a senior.
Linebaugh earned a bachelor’s degree in educational studies from Colgate in 2004.
