Getting to Know: Miriam Drubel

Freshman forward Miriam Drubel
Colgate women's hockey freshman Miriam Drubel joined the Raiders from the North American Hockey Academy (NAHA). This season she has made an immediate impact on the team, playing in 16 of the Raiders' 17 games.
 
Drubel is currently fifth on the team with 10 points from five goals and five assists. The forward has tallied two power play goals and one game-tying goal.

My SportsCenter highlight is: One time I blocked a shot, which caused me to get a breakaway. During the middle of my breakaway I noticed my skate was really loose so I looked down and it was completely untied, but I kept skating, deeked the goalie, and scored
If I were to play another sport, it would be: Lacrosse
What people would be surprised to know about me: I enjoy knitting
The greatest hockey game I ever played in was: When my high school hockey team played the Swedish Olympic team. We lost by three but it was still a great game.
