Raiders Finish Fourth at IC4A Championships

– The Colgate University men's cross country team concluded its 2010 season with a fourth place finish on Saturday at the 102nd IC4A Championships at Van Cortlandt Park.

Sophomore Chris Johnson (Murry Hill, N.J.) led the Raiders finishing fifth overall with a time of 25:38.1 in the five mile run, while senior Ed Sheridan (Phillipsburg, N.J.) crossed the line seventh overall with a time of 25:54.8.

Temple won the championship placing four runners in the top-10, to finish with 111 points, while Colgate led all Patriot League teams with 132 points. Bucknell finished 14th with 298 points.

Junior Thomas Hedges (Princeton, N.J.), senior Dan Gleason (Norwalk, Conn.), and sophomore Tim Phelps (Portland, Ore.) rounded out the top five for the Raiders, snapping the tape in times of 26:26.6, 26:31.2, and 27:22.1, respectively.
