KYLE WILSON'S BIO
HAMILTON, N.Y. (10/26/10) - Kyle Wilson '06 netted his first NHL goal last night as his Columbus Blue Jackets beat the Philadelphia Flyers by a 2-1 score.
His score came at 7:41 of the first period. Wilson charged the net and got a rebound off of the blocker of Brian Boucher and one-timed it for his first goal. Chris Clark allowed Wilson to take the shot as the two were both skating to the rebound.
"He pulled up and took a nice, hard shot," Wilson said of Clark. "I was just going to the net hard. It was one of those chances where the puck just came out in the right place at the right time for me and I was able to get it back on net."
WIlson made the team out of training camp and this year is his second stint in the NHL after spending two games on the ice with the Washington Capitals last season.
