Senior Year (2012): Played in 31 matches and 18 sets for the Raiders in her last season...finished second on the team with 274 kills on the season and averaged 2.42 per set...also added 64 digs...recorded 23 blocks, including 16 assisted blocks...had her best performance in the teams 3-1 against Albany on Oct. 17  with 18 kills and 8 digs.

Junior Year (2011): Saw action in 14 matches and 47 sets in an injury shorten year ... finished with 95 kills for sixth on the team ... also added 25 digs and 12 total blocks ... had two double-digit kill performances ... first came against Lehigh, where she finished with a season-high 11 kills on Nov. 5 in a 3-2 loss on the road ... added 10 more kills against Holy Cross on Nov. 12 and had four digs and two blocks in the 3-1 loss.

Sophomore Year (2010): Played in 24 matches and 85 sets for the Raiders in her second season ... hit .194 with 118 kills with 350 attacks ... her 118 kills were fifth on the team and average 1.39 per set ... had 33 total blocks, including 30 assisted blocks ... had 12 digs against Seton Hall on Sept. 4 in a 3-0 loss and also added three blocks at the Penn State Hampton Inn Classic ... had her best performance against UConn on Sept. 18 in a 3-0 sweep with 10 kills and hit .600.

McCarthy's 2010 Statistics

Freshman Year (2009): Saw action in 16 matches and 23 sets ... hit .148 with 18 kills and tallied nine digs on the season ... posted first career kill in season opener versus Coppin State (8/28) ... had a season-best five kills and three digs versus Toledo (9/5) ... hit .800 (4-0-5) in a four-set victory at Lafayette (11/6).

Prior to Colgate: A four-year letterwinner and starter for Chadwick High School ... Served as team captain her senior season ... was named a  first-team All CIF Division III and all-league selection her final two years ... named to the  South Bay All-Area team by the Daily Breeze in 2008 ... selected the North Tournament MVP in 2008 ... Honor Roll for eight semesters ... also lettered two years in water polo.
