CAREER STATISTICS

Senior Year (2014):  Appeared in 19 matches … Averaged 0.47 digs per set … Notched season-high five digs in five-set victory over Niagara in season opener (Aug. 29) … Named to Raider Academic Honor Roll. 

Junior Year (2013): Played in 17 matches with one start, tallying a total of 27 sets ... registered 22 kills for an average of 0.81 per set ... finished with 17 total blocks, including 14 assisted blocks ... registered season-high four kills in a win at Loyola (Nov. 15) and again in the Patriot League Championship aganst American (Nov. 24) ... posted three kills at Yale (Sept. 7) and versus Bucknell (Oct. 22) ... had season-high three assisted blocks at Lafayette on Oct. 19. 

Sophomore Year (2012): Appeared in 25 matches and 78 sets for Colgate ... recorded a career-high 78 kills, averaging one per set ... fourth on the team in total blocks with 52 and third in assisted blocks with 50 ... added 23 digs ... had 11 matches with three or more total blocks ... had four or more kills in 10 matches ... tallied a career-high eight kills in a four-set win at Bucknell on Oct. 4 and added three blocks ... registered five kills and four blocks against Syracuse on Aug. 25 ... recorded four kills and four blocks in back-to-back matches versus Cornell (Sept. 25) and Holy Cross (Setp. 28) ... posted five kills and four blocks in a win over Army in five sets on Nov. 2 ... followed that match with six strikes in a win over Holy Cross on Nov. 3 ... had a kill and a block at Texas in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Nov. 29.  

Freshman Year (2011): Played in 18 matches and 34 sets for the Raiders in her first season with the Raiders ... recorded 28 kills and had 19 total blocks ... in her second career match, she posted two kills and four total blocks against Seton Hall in a 3-1 loss on Aug. 27 ... tallied a season-high seven kills in a 3-1 loss to American on Sept. 24 ... came through with three kills, three solo blocks and three assisted blocks against Lehigh in a 3-0 sweep on Sept. 30  ... had a kill in 14 of her 18 matches played. 

Faines' 2011 Statistics

Before Colgate: Lettered all four years in volleyball for Walter Payton College Prep of the Chicago Public School Red North Division … was a four-time Chicago Public School City Champion for the Grizzlies and earned CPS All-City honors each of those seasons … finished her career with over 1500 kills, 350 blocks and 110 digs … had 327 kills, 81 blocks, 13 aces and 64 digs in her senior season … posted a season-high 15 kills, seven blocks and nine digs in a game in 2010 as team captain … was a two-time team captain and was an assistant captain as a junior … placed fourth in the Illinois (IHSA) State Tournament in 2008 and 2010 … two-time champion of the Latin Tournament of Chicago and also won the 2010 St. Patrick's of Chicago Tournament … named Chicago All-Area three times … in 2010, was tabbed a Illinois HS Girls Volleyball All-Star … selected to the AVCA 2010-11 Under Armour Girls Volleyball All-American Watch List … all-state as a senior and Chicago Tribune All-State Team honoree in 2010 … as a sophomore was named to the Soph 79: The Best High School Sophomores in the Country.
