Before Colgate
Brackett comes to Colgate from James Madison High School where she hit .452 with a .628 on-base percentage as a senior to earn All-Region and All-Conference honors. She helped lead her team to a runner-up finish in the 2016 Virginia 6A Championship by hitting .750 in the postseason with an .875 on-base percentage and helped guide her squad to a pair of conference championships. Brackett graduated as a four-time All-Conference player and was listed as one of FloSoftball’s “Hot 100 2016’s.” Off the field, Brackett was a member of the Athletic Honor Roll for all four years of her career.
