Season Highlights: Made a career-high 39 appearances as a senior…registered two saves…second on the team with 70.2 innings pitched….tossed a season-high five innings against Gardner-Webb (2/12) and didn’t allow a run while yielding three hits and striking out one in the 2-0 victory…pitched four scoreless innings six dates later in Colgate’s 5-1 win over Wagner (2/18)...picked up her first save of the season with two scoreless innings of relief against Holy Cross (4/2)...recorded a season-high five strikeouts at Lafayette (4/10).

Season Highlights: Tossed 21 innings in the circle and picked up two wins in back-to-back games against Lehigh (4/17)…pitched 3 2/3 scoreless innings of relief in Game 1 before coming in for 2 2/3 scoreless frames in Game 2…struck out a season-high five batters in 5 2/3 innings against UAlbany (3/21)…belted a double and scored a run in the same game…notched two pinch-hit singles against Boston University (4/4) and Lafayette (4/10).
 
2020 (Sophomore)

Season Highlights: Made an impact both in the circle and at the plate for the Raiders…did not allow an earned run in 8 2/3 innings…bashed a grand slam in her third career at-bat against Manhattan (2/22)…picked up her first win of the season against Furman (3/7), stranding the go-ahead run in scoring position in the top of the seventh before Colgate walked off in the bottom half of the inning…allowed just three hits and one unearned run in 5 2/3 innings of relief against UAB (3/7)…made first appearance of the season against South Dakota (2/22) and tossed 1 2/3 scoreless innings in relief.
 
2019 (Freshman)

Season Highlights: Tossed three scoreless innings in first career start against Jacksonville (2/16)…earned her first win in the Maroon and White against Detroit Mercy (2/23), firing 5 1/3 innings while allowing two earned runs…tallied first collegiate save against Siena (4/24)…allowed no earned runs over 6 1/3 innings in a win over Siena (4/24)…posted a season-high four strikeouts against Lafayette (4/29).

Before Colgate
Borruso graduated from Tappan Zee High School, where she posted a 49-13 career record as a four-year starter in the circle. Borruso as a senior went 19-2 with a 0.85 ERA and 229 strikeouts, while compiling a .426 batting average at the plate, en route to earning First Team All-State honors. She earned Second Team All-State accolades as a junior and was a three-time New York State All-Section honoree. She was also a three-year letter winner in volleyball. Off the field, she was a member of the National Honor Society, serving as the treasurer her senior year. Borruso was also involved in Mu Alpha Theta, Science Honor Society, Varsity Athletes Against Substance Abuse and Heroes and Cool Kids.
