Coach Hunt on Jake: "I give Jake credit. It's a tough situation to come somewhere and play when your dad's a coach, and particularly when your dad is basically your coach. Add to that, he never was a starter on defense. He always was a role guy, a depth guy. But he found a role as our long snapper, which is quite important. You don't know what you have until you don't have one of those, and basically for four years we have been set. His freshman year against Richmond, he got called out to be our long snapper and has done it ever since. The James Madison game, everybody remembers the kick. But the ball had to get snapped too and he did a great job there. It's kind of a thankless position but he's done a good job with it. Knock on wood, we haven't had any tragedy in that department and those are game-changing plays that, if you have a mistake in that part of your football game, you're going to pay the price. He's locked it down and done a really good job. Just found a really nice role, so I give him a lot of credit."
