He never gave up and he worked hard to progress through the ranks here, going from a scout team player to a special teams player to a backup to a starter. He never doubted himself, never wanted to leave, never questioned his playing time – just always did what it took to become a better football player. I was glad to see him recognized by his teammates and voted captain. Particularly in the offseason this summer, he was a great leader of the guys who were here. He got a lot of things done and set the tone for the workouts. Just one of those players who's going to be a good story. When you bring someone in and he has to earn it all, you can say it can be done and it can be done well. Look no further than Aidan; he's done a great job."
