Mallikah Little, from Houston, Texas, joins the Raiders as the director of football operations in 2021.
Little previously served in the same role at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA where she also handled all traveling responsibilities, since 2017.
During her time at Southern, Little oversaw all day-to-day activities of the football program that involved helping with logistics at football practice, housing, admissions, financial aid, recruiting, media relations, player relations, and parent engagement. She worked with the coaching, sports medicine, equipment, strength and conditioning, and sports information staff ensuring travel needs were met while providing all accommodations for a travel party of 130 or more people. She worked with the chief financial officer to ensure all travel accommodations were within the budget limits, while also organizing and establishing business/travel relationships across several states.
Little got her start in collegiate athletics as the Head Student Equipment Manager where she oversaw all day-to-day operations of equipment. She became a graduate assistant working with the coaching staff in recruitment and organizing travel. Little took over as administrative assistant to head coach/director of football operations. Little also was an intern at Louisiana State University. She shadowed the associate athletic director for football recruiting and alumni while assisting student workers with day-to-day recruiting tasks.
Little earned her bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation & Disability Studies and will obtain her Masters’ in Public Administration from Southern University. Â
