Coach Hunt on Trent: "Trent was put in a really tough situation at the start of his junior year. He was one of the few non-seniors really playing. Going from 2015 to 2016, he was the only new piece – everyone else was back. But he excelled. He came in and did a great job as a junior fitting in with that defense, making plays and knowing what he was doing. This year, he got the leadership role thrust upon him because we were replacing all of our linebackers and he's done an unbelievable job. He's a guy who when you sit and review a career, no matter how much praise we heap on him now, we're going to say we didn't appreciate him enough when he was here. That's one of those ultimate respect things where two years from now, we will notice when we don't have a guy who did what Trent did for us. I'm just really happy for him and, hopefully, we let him know how much we appreciate what he's done for us."

Added two sacks among five total tackles that day to garner multiple Patriot League player of the week nods and National Defensive Player of the Week honorable mention from STATS ... Career-high eight tackles, including three solo, at Fordham ...
