Biography

Senior Year (2012-13): Appeared in all 36 games for the Raiders as one of three team captains ... tallied 20 points on six goals and 14 helpers ... two of his six goals came on the power play ... had a pair of four-game point streaks during the year ... had points in 20 of the 36 games played ... tallied two gamewinning goals against Harvard (Nov. 17) and UMass (Dec. 7) ... finished with a +7, which was tops on the team ... in addition to the gamewinners, scored against Bowling Green (Oct. 19), Dartmouth (Nov. 16), Union (Jan. 19 and Brown (March 2) ... ended up with 59 shots and 54 blocked shots. 

Junior Year (2011-2012): Played in 36 of the Raiders 39 games, finishing the season with two goals and 21 assists for 23 points … registered two goals both being power-play goals … one power-play goal at Brown with five shots...one power-play goal and two assists versus St. Lawrence on Dec. 3 … recorded three helpers at RPI on Feb. 4 … tallied two helpers in Miami, Clarkson and Union … helped the Raiders with an assist in Nebraska, at Dartmouth, at Harvard, at Quinnipiac on Nov. 18, Canisius, at Cornell, RPI, and Quinnipiac on Mar. 10 … registered one lone helper in three straight games at Princeton, at Quinnipiac on Jan. 14 and Harvard…finished the season with 54 shots. 

Sophomore Year (2010-11): Was one of five skaters on the squad to play in all 42 games and has missed just one game in two years with Colgate ... set career highs in points and assists with 14 and 19, respectively ... led all defensemen on the team with 19 points ... 14 of his 16 regular season points came in ECAC Hockey play, which was the second most on the team ... his 10 league assists were the most by a Raider ... had seven assists on the power play and eight points with the extra man ... tallied three multi-point and multi-assist efforts this year ... earned his first two assists of the year in the 5-0 blanking of Sacred Heart on Oct. 30 ... scored his first goal of the season against Princeton in a 4-3 loss on Nov. 12 ... had back-to-back games with an assist against Brown and #5 Yale at home on the weekend of Nov. 19-20 ... had a career-high three helpers at #19 Princeton in a 5-4 loss ... the three assists came on Colgate’s first three goals, with one on the power play ... scored the lone goal against Cornell at home on Nov. 21 in a 1-1 tie ... had another three-point day with a goal and two assists in the win over #16 Dartmouth on Feb. 18 ...  finished the regular season with a goal against Brown on Feb. 26 ... scored a power play goal in game one at Rensselaer ... the goal cut the lead to 3-2 with 1:48 left in the game ... assisted on both of Colgate’s goals in the second period in Game 3's win over Union.

Freshman Year (2009-10): Skated in 35 of 36 games for the Raiders ... tallied 14 points on six goals and eight assists ... was listed as an honorable mention selection for the HCA Rookie of the Month for December ... his six goals were ranked fourth on the all-time freshman defenseman list for a single season and his 14 points were tied for sixth all-time ... scored his first collegiate goal in a 4-4 tie with Army (10/30) ... dished out three assists on the weekend of Nov. 20-21 versus Quinnipiac and Princeton - two coming against the Tigers ... scored a pair of power play goals at Canisius (12/20) and in the second game of a quarterfinal match-up versus St. Lawrence (3/13) ... was credited with assists versus Clarkson (1/29), Princeton (2/5), Brown (2/13), Harvard (2/20) and Rensselaer (2/26) ... had 64 shots on net ... finished with 32 penalty minutes on 16 infractions ... finished a +4 in a victory over Brown (2/13) and a +3 in a 6-1 win versus Clarkson (1/29) ... was a co-recipient of the Dan Coley "Barrell" Award for best defenseman.

Selected in the fourth  round, 113th pick overall, by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2009 NHL Amateur Draft at the Bell Centre in Montreal ... became the second highest ever Colgate selection in the draft behind current Raider Corbin McPherson ...  played one year fr the Nepean Raiders of the CJHL ... posted 12 goals and 29 assists in 55 games during the 2008-09 season for Coach Garry Galley ... served as an assistant captain for a team that finished first in its league ... garnered first team all-league; played in the 2008 CJHL East vs. West Prospects Game (all of Canada) and played in the CJHL (Ottawa League) All-Star Game ...  played for Team Canada East in the 2008 World Junior A Challenge in Camrose, Alberta, where his team won the bronze medal  ... played for the Milton Icehawks of the OPJHL ... tallied 11 goals, 28 assists in two years at Milton ... participated in the 2008 Rookie All-Star Game ... was drafted by the Oshawa Generals in the 2006 OHL Draft.
