Biography

Senior Year (2011-12): Recorded four goals and six assists for 10 points in 39 games ... scored the gamewinning goal against Canisius (12/30) and against Brown (2/11) ... gamewinner at Canisius also came on a power play ... recorded another power play goal against Ferris State (1/6) as well as one against Yale (2/10)... recorded assists in back-to-back games versus Harvard (1/20) and Dartmouth (1/21) ... had a three-game point scoring streak including an assist at Rensselaer (2/4) and goals against Yale (2/10) and Brown (2/11).

Junior Year (2010-11): Posted four goals and six assists for 10 points in 41 games ... five of his six assists came against ECAC Hockey opponents ... had a career-high three points on two goals and an assist in the 5-0 win over Sacred Heart ... both goals came in the first period with one goal coming on the power play ... he posted an assist on another goal with the man advantage in the third period ... recorded assists against Princeton, Brown and #5 Yale in a four-game stretch with one coming in each game ... scored a goal against Army on Dec. 4 in a 3-0 win ... added another against #5 Boston College on Dec. 30 at the Ledyard Classic at Dartmouth ... recorded an assist on the double overtime gamewinner to clinch the first round series over RPI.

Sophomore Year (2009-10): Skated in 35 of 36 games ... finished with two goals and six assists for eight points ... notched first multi-point game of his career including scoring his first collegiate goal, a game-winner at Brown (11/13) ... posted his second score of the year at home against Robert Morris (1/22) ... assisted on the game-winning goal at Princeton (2/5) ... posted helpers in the season opener at Niagara (10/9), at home versus Niagara (10/31), at Canisius (12/20) and at Clarkson (1/16) ... had a season-high seven blocks versus Niagara (10/31) ... fired 18 shots on goal and finished a +4 ... had 10 infractions for 20 minutes.

Freshman Year (2008-09): Was one of nine players to see action in all 37 games ... Tallied five assists on the year and finished season with 50 penalty minutes ... Picked up  first collegiate point on Colgate's lone goal versus #9 Princeton (11/8) ... Notched helpers versus St. Lawrence (12/5), Lake Superior State (1/8), at Harvard (2/13), and in the second game of an opening round ECAC Tournament matchup versus Quinnipiac (3/7) ... Fired 29 shots on goal.

Prior to Colgate: Was selected in the third round (87th overall) by the New Jersey Devils in the 2007 NHL Amateur Draft ...Became the highest ever draftee in Colgate hockey history ...  Played two years for the Cowichan Valley Capitals of the BCHL ... Served as an assistant captain in 2007-08 season ... Posted three goals and 14 assists in 55 games for the Capitals during his second campaign with the team ... Had four goals and 10 assists in his inaugural season.
