Biography

Senior Year (2011-12): Played in 23 games for the Raiders , recording a goal and nine assists for 10 points ... earned his first point of the season against Niagara with an assist in a 7-6 OT win on Oct. 28 ... had a goal and an assist for two points in a win at Brown on Nov. 4 ... recorded an assist at Dartmouth on Nov. 11 ... tied a season-high two assists against Princeton on Nov 19 and followed that with an assist at Vermont on Nov. 25 ... registered an assist on Dec. 30 against Canisius and had two helpers against national runner-up Ferris State on Jan. 6.

Junior Year (2010-11): Enjoyed his best goal-scoring season of his career with four, with one on the power play and one as a gamewinner ... his previous high was two, which was set in his freshman season ... added five assists for nine points in 41 games played ... posted first two assists in a loss to Niagara on Nov. 23 and a 3-0 win at Army on Dec. 4 ... scored first goal of the season in the 4-3 loss to Dartmouth on New Year’s Eve in the Ledyard Classic ... the goal gave Colgate a two-goal lead in the second period ... added an assist at #19 Princeton in a 6-5 loss on Jan. 9 ... had at least one point in five of the last seven games of the season ... the Raiders were 4-2-1 in those last seven games ... second goal of the season came as the overtime gamewinner against #8 Rensselaer at Houston Field House in a 2-1 win on Feb. 11 ... scored the next night at #9 Union to extend his streak to three games with at least a point ... added an assist against Harvard on Feb. 16 in a 2-1 win over the Crimson ... tallied a goal in the regular season finale against Brown in a 6-4 loss in Providence ... took over for Ethan Cox in setting up the annual holiday toy and food drive for the Hamilton Interfaith Coalition and the Hamilton Food Cupboard.

Sophomore Year (2009-10): Skated in 35 of 36 games ... finished with 12 points on one goal and 11 assists ... scored lone goal at home in a 3-2 victory against Dartmouth (11/7) ... assisted on game-tying goal at Niagara (10/9) in the season opener ... was credited with assists on game winning goals versus Clarkson (1/16 and 1/29) ... posted an assist on Nick Prockow's power play goal in the third period of a 3-2 victory over Rensselaer (2/26) that clinched a first round bye in the ECAC Hockey play-offs ... picked up assists versus Niagara (10/31), Brown (11/13), Quinnipiac (11/20), Cornell (11/24), Notre Dame (1/2), and Union (2/27) ... posted an assist in the second game of a best of three versus St. Lawrence (3/13) ... had 30 minutes of penalties on 15 infractions ... fired 40 shots on net.

2008-09 Season:  Sat out the year due to a season ending injury

Freshman Year (2007-08): One of just four players, and the only freshman, to play in all 42 games ... ranked second in ECAC Hockey among freshman defensemen with 17 points on the season ... tied for third in school history among freshman defensemen in points with 17, and assists with 15 ... tied for ninth all-time at Colgate among freshman defensemen with two goals on the year ... both of his goals were game-winners ... selected as a runner-up for the Hockey Commissioners' Association Rookie of the Month award for March ... registered two assists, including one on the game-winning goal in double-overtime, in the clinching game of the ECAC Hockey quarterfinal series against No. 7 Clarkson (3/16) ... posted an assist in each of the last two games of the ECAC Hockey first-round playoff series with St. Lawrence (3/7-9) ... recorded a career-best +4 rating in the overtime win at Quinnipiac (2/24)... earned a power-play assist against Union (2/16) ... Assisted on both of Colgate's goals in the weekend series with Cornell (2/1-2)... Earned an assist against Brown (1/26) ... selected to the ECAC Hockey Weekly Honor Roll (1/21) ... scored the game-winning goal and added an assist against St. Lawrence (1/19)  ... finished the game against the Saints with a +3 rating ... Assisted on the game-tying goal, which was senior Jesse Winchester's 100th career point, against No. 12 Clarkson (1/18) ... named to the ECAC Hockey Weekly Honor Roll (1/2)  ... earned an assist in each game of the Badger Showdown, against No. 13 Wisconsin and No. 11 Northeastern (12/28-29)   ... his first career goal stood up as the game-winner against Robert Morris (12/1) ... posted an assist versus Connecticut (11/23) ... finished the game against the Huskies with a career-high five shots on goal ... recorded his first collegiate point with an assist against RIT (11/13)... had a +3 rating versus the Tigers ... was called for 12 penalties totaling 24 minutes ... had 55 shots on goal, 32 blocked shots, and a +2 rating on the season. 

Before Colgate:
Earned four letters at the Belmont Hill School ... Captained team to a first-place finish in the ISL in 2007 ... recorded 14 goals and 32 assists for 46 points in 32 games as a senior ... honored as the ISL's most valuable player ... named to the all-New England first team, all-ISL team, and the Boston Globe all-scholastic team ... received the John Carlton Memorial Trophy from the Boston Bruins ... played with current Raider teammate Brian Day on the U.S. Under-17 Select Team in 2004 ... previously played for the Boston Junior Eagles of the Eastern Hockey Federation.
