Played four years of varsity football at nearby Jamesville-Dewitt High School under head coach John Barlow...landed All-CNY and All-League First Team honors as a senior after racking up 79 tackles including three sacks and 17 tackles for loss...added one fumble recovery and one interception during senior campaign...registered 180 career tackles including seven sacks, and 32 TFLS...grabbed seven fumble recoveries and one interception...named New York State Class B Scholar-Athlete of the Year...also played basketball and lacrosse in high school....finished NYS Runner-Up in lacrosse during senior season....member of National Honor Society.
