Before Colgate
Capitano graduated from Episcopal Academy in 2020 as a two-time All Inter-AC selection under head coach Brian Shanahan. The Malvern, Pennsylvania, product wrapped up his high school career with 1,502 points for the Churchmen. Capitano garnered All-Inter AC and All-Delaware County First Team honors after leading his team averaging 19 points per game as a senior captain. He was named to the Mercer Invitational All-Tournament Team three times (2018, 2019, 2020) and earned placement on the All-Tournament Team as a standout in the Donofrio Classic in 2019. As a senior at Episcopal, Capitano also earned the team’s Mind, Body, and Spirit Award.
