Served as team captain for her ice hockey (2020) and track & field teams (2021) ... was the 2017 NEPSAC Class A Tournament Champion and 2019 FAA Tournament Champion ... named to the high school National Academic Squad by the NFHCA in 2019 and 2020 ... named to the AP Scholar Award in 2019 and 2020 ... honored as the field hockey program's Most Improved Player in 2019 and ice hockey's Most Improved Player in 2020.

Shaffer on why she chose Colgate: "I choose Colgate because I loved the small school feel combined with the academic excellence. I also admired the field hockey program and was interested in playing college level athletics."
