Colgate: was one of the premier defensive players in the nation ... two-time Buck Buchanan finalist as the outstanding defensive player in the nation …. Two-time All-American … earned three varsity letters ... played in 41 games with 22 starts ... made 274 tackles (151 solo) including 20 TFL’s for minus 86 yards ... also had three fumbles forced, three fumble recoveries, 10 PBU, 7.5 quarterback sacks and three interceptions ... picked preseason first team All-America by Lindy’s Magazine, Street & Smith Magazine and The Sports Network ... selected as the Patriot League preseason Defensive Player of the Year.
 
As A Senior (2007) – second team All-America by The Sports Network and the Associated Press … named to the FCS Fabulous 50 All-America Team … named to ECAC FCS All-Star team … second team all-FCS by CollegeSportsReport.com … first team all-Patriot League … finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award, given to the outstanding defensive player in the nation … honored at the 8th annual Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet by the Central New York Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame … was the top tackler in the Patriot League with 123 (61 solo) and finished 14th in the FCS … had 10 TFL’s for minus 42 yards, 3.5 quarterback sacks for minus 30 yards,  three interceptions, four PBU, two fumble recoveries and one fumble forced … six games in double figure tackles with a season-high 17 against Massachusetts and Georgetown … had a TFL in nine of 11 games … interceptions came against Fordham, Cornell and Towson … had a fumble forced and recovery against Towson and fumble recovery against Lehigh … Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week vs. Dartmouth, Cornell and Georgetown … co-linebacker of the week by the SME Network vs. Dartmouth.
