Season Highlights: Strong senior campaign…one of six players to start every game…posted career highs in starts (9), shots (10), shots on goal (2), and minutes (643)…played at least 62 minutes in every match…tied for fourth on the team in shots with 10…saw a season-high 98 minutes and fired two shots on goal in the 2021 opener at Navy (2/28)…took three shots against Lafayette (3/20)…played 66 minutes and struck two shots in the Patriot League championship against Navy (4/17).


2019 (Junior)
Games/Starts: 15/1
Stats: 3 shots, 1 shot on goal, 274 minutes
Season Highlights: Made her first career start against Cornell (Oct. 15)…played a season-high 55 minutes and came inches away from netting the go-ahead goal in season opener at Fairfield…saw  25 minutes of action and struck a shot on goal in Patriot League Tournament against Army (Nov. 5).

 
2018 (Sophomore)
Games/Starts: 9/0
Stats: 109 minutes
Season Highlights: Saw action in nine games as a sophomore…played a season-high 22 minutes against Cornell (Oct. 9)…saw 19 minutes on the pitch at Fairfield (Sept. 18).


2017 (Freshman)
At Villanova
Games/Starts: 14/2
Stats: 1 assist, 1 point, 2 shots, 253 minutes
Season Highlights: Appeared in 14 games and recorded two starts during freshman campaign at Villanova...recorded first collegiate point with an assist on game-winning goal against Harvard (9/15)...played a season-high 48 minutes in season opener against Delaware (8/20).

  
Before Colgate 
Ciardiello comes to Colgate after spending one year at the Big East’s Villanova where she made 14 appearances and two starts as a freshman. Prior to Villanova, the midfielder was a three-time Western New England All-Star selection and Boston Globe All-New England Team member out of the Hopkins School. Ciardiello was also a four-time Connecticut All-Star and named to the Connecticut Senior Bowl after wrapping up her high school career with 32 goals and 30 assists, including 16 goals and 12 assists in her senior year alone. Ciardiello also played four years of club soccer with the Connecticut Football Club.

Born: Mia Catherine Ciardiello in New Haven, Conn.
Family: Daughter of Carmen and Kristine Ciardiello…has one brother and one sister…aunt Elizabeth Leaming graduated from Colgate in 1988.
