Season Highlights: Appeared in 22 games as a first-year…scored seven runs as a key pinch-runner for the Raiders…scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the fifth of Colgate’s 1-0 victory over Lafayette (4/10)…crossed home plate in back-to-back games during Colgate’s doubleheader sweep at Army (4/26).

Venizelos was a four-time NJISSA Prep A All-State First Team selection under head coach Kathy Quirk at The Hun School of Princeton. She posted a .495 career batting average, including a .509 clip during her junior campaign, while helping lead her team to a pair of Mid-Atlantic Prep League (MAPL) titles. Venizelos guided her team to the 2017 NJISSA Prep A State Championship in 2017 after batting .547 for the year. She posted a .495 career batting average and was a four-time Mid-Atlantic Prep League (MAPL) First Team selection. Twice named the Destination Athlete Rising Star Award winner, Venizelos and earned the team’s Iron Woman Award in four straight seasons. Venizelos was three-year member of National Honor Society at The Hun School of Princeton.
