Season Highlights: Caps her Colgate career ranked fifth all-time in runs scored (116), tied for fifth in doubles (34), 13th in hits (157), and tied for 16th in home runs (11)…career-best marks in batting average (.341), on-base percentage (.487) and slugging (.511)…garnered Academic All-Patriot League laurels for the third straight season…led the team in runs (26), doubles (9), and on-base percentage (.487)…nine multi-hit games…reached base in 14 consecutive games (4/10-5/9)…posted a season-high three hits in back-to-back games against Boston University (4/4) and Lafayette (4/9)…went 3-for-3 in the win over Lafayette with two doubles, two RBIs, and a run scored…blasted a leadoff home run in Colgate’s win over Holy Cross (5/1)…registered two hits in three consecutive games against Army and Holy Cross (4/26-5/1)…drove in four runs behind a pair of doubles in Colgate’s win over Albany (3/20)…belted a bases-clearing double and finished with three RBIs in the Patriot League tournament against Lehigh (5/14).

Season Highlights: Another strong campaign behind the plate for the Raiders…earned Preseason All-Patriot League honors…one of five Raiders to start every game…tied for the team lead in runs scored (12), second on the team in on-base percentage (.413), and first in walks (15)…blasted a two-run homer to extend Colgate’s early lead over Stony Brook (2/21)…led off the game against UAB (3/7) with a home run and finished with two RBIs...reached base three times and scored a season-high three runs in win over Merrimack (2/21)…threw out five baserunners attempting to steal (5-for-23) on the season. 

2019 (Junior)

Stats: .327 BA (50-for-153), .418 ob%, .497 slg%, 9 2B, 1 3B, 5 HR, 24 RBI, 30 R, .926 fld%
Season Highlights: Turned in another strong season to earn All-League Second Team honors…led team in on-base percentage (.418), slugging percentage (.497), and runs (30)…appeared in every game with 51 starts primarily behind the plate…recorded 13 multi-hit games and five multi-RBI contests…finished with three hits in a game twice…went 3-for-4 against UAlbany (3/30) with three RBI, all produced on a go-ahead three-run homer in 4-1 victory…had three hits with an RBI and two runs scored in win over Army (4/6)…posted season-long seven-game hitting streak (3/24-4/6)…finished 2-for-2 with a run scored and two RBI in win over Syracuse (4/17)…tallied three hits in two games of Patriot League Tournament (5/9). 

2018 (Sophomore)

Stats: .310 BA (39-for-126), 9 RBI, 26 R, 6 SB (6-for-10), .396 ob%
Season Highlights: Standout sophomore campaign to earn second team All-League laurels…hit .345 against league foes… finished the season as Colgate's team leader in on-base percentage (.396), runs scored (26), doubles (8), triples (2), and stolen bases (6)…put together a team-high 14-game reached base streak during the season and finished with 11 multi-hit games…went 3-for-3 with two doubles and two runs scored at Holy Cross (April 28)…tallied a three-hit game with two runs scored against Bucknell (April 21)…knocked in two runs against North Dakota State (March 15).

2017 (Freshman)

Games/Starts: 41/38
Stats: .260 BA (27-for-104), 10 RBI, 22 R, 11 SB (11-for-16), .403 ob%
Season Highlights: Saw action as a catcher, infielder and designated hitter in 41 games throughout the season … recorded her first collegiate hit against Towson (Feb. 18) … tallied her first multi-hit game in a 2-for-3, 2 RBI effort against Yale (March 14) … drove in two runs in another victory over Yale (March 19) … went 1-for-2 with two runs scored, two walks and two stolen bases against Holy Cross (April 22).
 
Before Colgate

Irby hails from Henrico, Va. where she was a three-time team captain of Douglas Southall Freeman High School. She was twice named her team’s Defensive Player of the Year in addition to earned Offensive Player of the Year and MVP honors. A four-year All-Conference honoree, Irby was also a member of the National Honor Society.
