  • Marked a career-high of 54 assists in the five-set win at Lafayette (Oct. 12)
  • Surpassed 50 assists on five occasions
  • Marked a career-high of 20 digs against New Hampshire (Sept. 14)
  • Was effective at the net jumping for a career-best of five total blocks in the sweep of Bucknell (Oct. 19)
  • Seven kills while hitting .875 in the five-set win at Buffalo (Sept. 1)
  • Also earned a season-high of four service aces at Bucknell (Nov. 16) in addition to posting a double-double in the same match

  • Posted three consecutive double-doubles on two occasions
  • Ranked second on the team with her 27 service aces
  • Marked a season-high of 52 assists in five-set win against Lehigh (Oct. 12)
  • Earned season-best of 15 digs in 3-0 sweep at Bucknell (Oct. 26)
  • Earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors with a season-high of six aces in 3-0 sweep of Holy Cross (Oct. 21)
  • Had seven multi-ace matches and recorded season-high of seven kills at Stony Brook (Sept. 16)
  • jumped for a season-best of four total blocks against Stephen F. Austin (Sept. 1).

Before Colgate
Three-time All-State, three-time All-Western New York and four-time All-Conference pick out of Lancaster Central High School…named team MVP after wrapping up senior season with 356 kills, 298 assists, 188 digs, 117 blocks and 75 service aces…guided her team to a 2016 section co-championship…two-time team captain that finished her accomplished career with 1,111 kills, 1,135 assists, 643 digs, 193 blocks and 179 aces.

Born: Julia Rose Kurowski in Buffalo, N.Y.
Family: Daughter of Thomas and Renee Kurowski…has one brother Tommy…cousin Stephanie Zielinski played professional volleyball in Europe.

Kurowski on why she chose Colgate: "I'm so excited with my decision to attend Colgate University. I felt welcomed from the very beginning. The coaches have a winning attitude and the academics are outstanding. I feel fortunate that the campus is close to home because my family will be able to attend my home games. The community at Colgate is like no other."
